Mit Windows macht man was mit. Heute wollte ich mein Hintergrundbild ändern, aber das ging auf einmal nicht mehr.

Sobald ich ein anderes Bild ausgesucht hatte und "übernehmen" klickte, passierte.... überhaupt nix. Außerdem war unter "Eigenschaften von Updates" ->" Desktop" -> "Desktop anpassen" das Reiterchen "Web" verschwunden.

RESOLUTION
Click Start, Run and type REGEDIT
Navigate to the following keys:
HKEY_CURRENT_USER \ Software \ Microsoft \ Windows \ CurrentVersion \ Policies \ Explorer
and
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE \ Software \ Microsoft \ Windows \ CurrentVersion \ Policies \ Explorer
Delete the two values NoActiveDesktopChanges & NoActiveDesktop in the right-pane

Navigate to the following keys:
HKEY_CURRENT_USER \ Software \ Microsoft \ Windows \ CurrentVersion \ Policies \ ActiveDesktop
and
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE \ Software \ Microsoft \ Windows \ CurrentVersion \ Policies \ ActiveDesktop
Delete the value NoComponents in both the above locations.

To start the Group Policy Editor, type GPEDIT.MSC in Start, Run dialog.
