Au Backe! Microsoft hat eine wirklich seltsame Vorstellung von Verbesserungen in punkto Userinterfaces. Früher (Win 95,98,ME,2000,XP) wurde ein freigegebener Ordner durch eine Hand am Ordner-Icon gekennzeichnet. Das sieht so aus:

So erkennt man auf einen Blick, welche Ordner freigegeben sind und welche nicht. In Windows 7 wurde dieses Feature komplett entfernt. Man sieht also nicht mehr, welche Ordner man anderen Benutzern freigegeben hat. Ein reisen Scheiß. Die offizielle Begründung schießt jedoch den Vogel ab:

The previous overlay model would have resulted in the sharing overlay appearing frequently in typical Explorer views, potentially distracting users with information that they might not use or need on a daily basis [...] The sharing state information that the overlay provides isn’t gone but rather has been moved to the Details pane in Windows Explorer. This approach is an improvement over the overlay model, as it helps provide more relevant data related to sharing (for example, who the item is shared with).

Wow! What an improvement! Wenn ich also wissen will, welche Ordner freigegeben sind, muss ich alle einzeln anklicken? Damit ich nicht durch Information abgelenkt werde?? Das ist echt ganz große Scheiße, ihr verblendeten ████████████, damit könnt ihr ████████ und ████████████ und dann werd ich ██████████ ████████ ████████ ████!!!!!!!!! ██████████ ████████████!!!!!
