Seit dem 1. Januar 2018 gewährt der Online-Zahlungsdienst PayPal Einblick in die Liste der Firmen, mit denen er „möglicherweise“ persönliche Informationen seiner Nutzer teilt. Rebecca Ricks hat die sage und schreibe 600 Firmen visualisiert. Achtung: Die Darstellung ist nicht für die mobile Nutzung ausgelegt.

Beispiel? Gigya, Inc. (US): Name, address, phone number, email address, customer’s spoken words, customer keyboard and cursor behavior when using PayPal website or App, Social media login’s or identity tokens (at customer discretion)
Oder auch Lithium Technologies Inc. (USA): Information provided by the customer via social media channels which may include name, address, telephone number, email addresses, social media user names, truncated and limited or full funding source information (case dependent), funding source expiration dates, type of PayPal account, proof of identity, account balance and transaction information, customer statements and reports, account correspondence, shipping information and promotional information.
Ihr PayPal-Benutzer|innen habt da sicher nichts dagegen einzuwenden, ne? Nadannisjagut.

Ja, ich habe hier kein HTTPS am Laufen, das hat seine traurige Begründung in der total kaputten DB-Struktur von WordPress. Sorry, aber ich werde hier auch kein HTTPS etabliert bekommen, ohne nicht dabei über 10 Jahre Bloggeschichte mehr oder weniger kaputt zu machen
